My teaching and research interests are at the intersection of environmental pollution, ecological restoration, and sustainable use of natural resources. My current research focusses on finding innovative solutions to socio-environmental challenges, such as water pollution, food security, and human health.

I am a visiting professor at CEU and a researcher at the Environmental Social Science Research Group in Budapest where I work on transdisciplinary research projects on environmental and societal issues related to food security, climate change, and participative exchange between researchers and the public.
