Covid 19-related CEU Senate Decisions, Policies and Communications

Dear All, please look to these documents related to COVID 19 communications and decisions by CEU if need be.
SPP is here to support our faculty, staff, students and alumni. OneCEU site has a collection of Rector updates for the community, along with separate communications from the Provost, Dean of Students, on issues such as working from home, guidance to supervisors re work obligations of parents. CEU document repository is where you can find COVID 19 academic decisions, such as grading and extensions, the PhD measures, and cost reimbursement for academics.

	Martin Kahanec (DPP) has been appointed as one of the two associate editors of the International Journal of Manpower. The International Journal of Manpower (IJM) is a double-blind reviewed journal provides guidance for those involved at all levels in human resource planning and labour economics. The journal publishes research papers, the results and analysis of which will have implications or relevance to policy makers and practitioners in relevant fields. IJM gives priority to strongly empirical/analytical research papers.
	Dean Wolfgang Reinicke joined invited representatives of public policy schools for the Global Public Policy Network's (GPPN) Conference in Tokyo in December.
	Immigration policy is an issue on which governments must commit to one overall strategy both at the political and organizational levels says former UK Home Secretary Charles Clarke.
	The Data Stories exhibition ran from November 18 to 29 at CEU. SPP MPA student Zintis Hermansons was one of the exhibitors, with four pieces on display.
	Martin Kahanec (DPP) organized the 6th IZA/ASE Workshop on EU Enlargement and the Labor Markets in Bucharest, Romania, on November 25-26, 2013. The workshop featured the Romanian launch of the International Handbook on the Economics of Migration co-edited by Amelie F. Constant and Klaus F. Zimmermann, with a contribution by Martin Kahanec on "Labor mobility in an enlarged European Union". Presentations covering several countries in South-Eastern Europe provided deep insights into their labor and migration issues.
