Martin Kahanec, Associate Professor at the Department of Public Policy, presented as an invited expert at a seminar “Re-Thinking Attractiveness of Labour Migration Policies - Comparative Perspectives on the EU, the USA, Canada and Beyond” jointly organized by DG HOME, European Commission and CEPS under the NEUJOBS FP7 project in Brussels on February 14, 2014. Kahanec outlined a number of migration policy options and advocated for a flexible migration framework enabling Europe to attract and select immigrants with sound prospects in the labor market.
