SPP is here to support our faculty, staff, students and alumni. OneCEU site has a collection of Rector updates for the community, along with separate communications from the Provost, Dean of Students, on issues such as working from home, guidance to supervisors re work obligations of parents. CEU document repository is where you can find COVID 19 academic decisions, such as grading and extensions, the PhD measures, and cost reimbursement for academics.

Youngmi Kim, faculty member at the Department of Public Policy and the Department of International Relations and European Studies (IRES), has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor, effective May 1. At CEU, Youngmi teaches courses on East Asia in International Relations and Comparative Regionalism at IRES, and Comparative Political Institutions and Global Cities at DPP. Youngmi also directs the Global E-School Project on Korean Studies in Eurasia (2012-2017), coordinated by CEU and funded by the Korea Foundation. |

Following an initiative by the CEU Center for European Union Research (CEUR) a group of students from the Department of International Relations and European Studies and the Department of Public Policy who took this year's CEU Jean Monet Module on European Integration submitted questions to the front runners in the upcoming European Parliament elections. |

DPP's Andreas Goldthau presented two papers at the 55th Annual Convention of the International Studies Association, held 25-29 March 2014 in Toronto. Papers focused on the effects of the liberal paradigm guiding the European Commissions external energy relations, and the the EU as a regulatory state actor in global energy affairs. |
