CEU has prepared a handbook for Myanmar authorities currently preparing legislation to enshrine the principle of university autonomy into law. The handbook on university autonomy, the latest in several CEU projects advising Myanmar authorities and institutions of higher education, was presented by Liviu Matei, senior vice president and higher education policy professor at CEU, at a two-day conference organized by UNESCO, Open Society Foundations and the Myanmar Ministry of Education on the 26th and 27th of May, 2014, at the University of Yangon. |

Associate Professor Marie-Pierre Granger participated in the XXVIth FIDE Congress, organised by the European Federation for European Law. The even took place in Copenhagen on 28-31 May 2014, and gathered hundreds of academics and practitioners specialised in EU law. She attended the working groups on EU citizenship and Constitutional and Institutional Aspects Economic Governance of the EU. |
