SPP is here to support our faculty, staff, students and alumni. OneCEU site has a collection of Rector updates for the community, along with separate communications from the Provost, Dean of Students, on issues such as working from home, guidance to supervisors re work obligations of parents. CEU document repository is where you can find COVID 19 academic decisions, such as grading and extensions, the PhD measures, and cost reimbursement for academics.

Senior and mid-level National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) staff were part of a practical training at the first NHRI Academy convoked by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and organized jointly with the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) and the School of Public Policy (SPP) at Central European University, in Budapest on 23 – 27 June 2014.

 

Brazil's World Cup stadiums are buzzing with excitement and fans all over the globe are glued to the TV for heart-stopping matches to see who will take home the 2014 trophy. CEU Associate Professor of Public Policy Achim Kemmerling took a look at how player height affects a team's success. For his blog, he produced charts in which he linked average national body height with the performance of the respective national teams.

The Outstanding Academic Achievement Award is given to students from each Master's program who have achieved the highest GPA (grade point average) at the end of the program.

This academic year DPP's Outstanding Academic Achievement Awards have been extended to Amy Schoeber in the one-year MA program and James Wilhelm in Mundus MAPP.

The second Open Society Internship for Rights and Governance (OSIRG) kicked off in Budapest on June 13. Created by the Open Society Foundations (OSF) and the School of Public Policy (SPP) at CEU, this highly competitive program allows a limited number of students from a select number of top public policy schools around the world to immerse themselves in the theory and practice of human rights governance through a Clinical Seminar in Budapest at SPP.
