CONGRATULATIONS, SPP CLASS OF 2021!

June 18, 2021

It has been a historic year for the School of Public Policy and the whole university, marked by the first academic year wholly being in Vienna.

The 30th Graduation Ceremony and the online virtual commencement took place on June 18 and the School’s graduation event is scheduled on June 22, 2021.

This year the School of Public Policy graduated 47 students from 34 different countries across three programs: 20 in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program; 15 in the MA in Public Policy (one-year MAPP) program; and 12 in the Erasmus Mundus MAPP program. SPP also celebrated the graduation of three PhD candidates in the public policy track of the political science PhD program at the CEU Doctor School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations.

"Despite the many challenges posed this pandemic year, SPP graduates managed to navigate and successfully complete their studies. I am very proud of the SPP graduates and whole SPP community that has worked very hard to make this possible” said acting Dean, Professor Martin Kahanec. "Congratulations to the SPP class of 2021 for your remarkable dedication, hard work and resilience!", he added.
