Tiziana Centofanti is an environmental scientist whose teaching and research interests are at the intersection of environmental pollution, ecology, and environmental policy. Tiziana's current research program investigates how environmental issues (i.e., water scarcity, pollution, agro-biodiversity loss) affect human and ecosystem resilience. Specific research studies focus on restoration ecology of degraded land, local institutions and human drivers for the conservation of resources, and ecosystem services assessment. Previously, Tiziana has taught and worked as a research scientist at Cranfield University (UK), University of Maryland (College Park), U.S. Department of Agriculture (Beltsville, MD), and California State University (Fresno).
