Caitlin Brown is a development economist specializing in poverty, inequality, health and education. She is currently working on projects related to gender and intra-household inequality in South-East Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. As part of her dissertation, Caitlin investigated the efficacy of using proxy-means testing to target poor households, as well as the relationship between household wealth and nutritional status. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University and has recently published in the Journal of Development Economics and the Review of Economics and Statistics
