Brexit Means No Immediate Changes to Mundus MAPP Program

Following the Brexit vote in support of Britain's withdrawal from the EU, we have received a number of inquiries from prospective students of our Erasmus Mundus Masters program that includes the University of York as a valued consortium partner. Until the British government announces a strategy for Brexit, there will be no changes to the Erasmus Mundus Masters program. Here is a statement from York's Vice Chancellor.

SPP Celebrates Graduation of Students across Master’s Programs

The CEU School of Public Policy graduated 68 students across three programs: 33 in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program, 27 in the MA in Public Policy (one-year MAPP) program, and eight in the Erasmus Mundus MAPP program. "This year was a great one for our students," said incoming dean Julia Buxton. "It marked the first year that all public policy programs at CEU are housed within SPP."

Sabic Explores Diversification of Higher Education in Europe

Since the Bologna Declaration was adopted by 29 ministers of education in June 1999, the focus has been on efforts to harmonize higher education within the European Union. As someone who has worked in higher education for a number of years, Norbert Sabic (PhD '16) is very familiar with these efforts. He is also well aware of the concern among many policy makers about the lack of institutional diversity within Europe.
