SPP is here to support our faculty, staff, students and alumni. OneCEU site has a collection of Rector updates for the community, along with separate communications from the Provost, Dean of Students, on issues such as working from home, guidance to supervisors re work obligations of parents. CEU document repository is where you can find COVID 19 academic decisions, such as grading and extensions, the PhD measures, and cost reimbursement for academics.

“The SPP Career Services Newsletter was an essential source of information for my internship search between my two academic years and I continue to refer to it now for my job search for after graduation,” explained second-year MPA student Aron Suba. He is just one of the more than 100 public policy master’s students at CEU’s School of Public Policy who receive the newsletter, which is issued every 2-3 weeks during the academic year. Second-year MPA student Mara Tissera Luna also relies on the newsletter. |

“This position is a perfect fit for me,” explained alumna Ilana Ullman (MAPP ’16). “In addition to working on issues I'm passionate about, I'm excited at the opportunity to live and work in Budapest and to continue to be a part of the CEU community.” Ullman has returned to Budapest as a policy and communications analyst with Ranking Digital Rights (RDR), a project she has been working on since October 2016. |

“We went to Putumayo planning to make one type of film, but ended up making something very different,” explained Neil White during a presentation at CEU’s School of Public Policy on January 12. The film that White and Lesly Vela Cobo traveled to Colombia to make was about the indigenous communities living in southern Colombia and their relationship with Yagé (Ayahuasca), a plant that they have used for thousands of years to treat illnesses and also in ritual ceremonies. |

The SPP Office of Career Services recently published a report highlighting key facts about the internships conducted by 64 public policy master’s students in 2015-16. One interesting fact: more than half of these SPP students completed internships outside their country of citizenship. The report also shows the great variety of student internships at SPP. |

Public policy alumnus László Jakab’s presentation at the European Parliament’s “Anti-Gypsyism: lost cause?” conference in December has been published on Kettős Mérce, a popular online blog, and on Roma React, an international blog that is run by ERGO, a European Roma network. |
