The Central European University (CEU) School of Public Policy (SPP) will award several Peace Corps Scholarships to Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV) who are accepted into the two-year Master of Public Administration program.

The MPA degree curriculum is focused on the study and practice of global public policy. CEU is an English-language, U.S. graduate university located in Budapest and accredited in both the United States and Hungary. The Master of Public Administration program is registered and accredited in the State of New York.


Recipients of the Peace Corps Scholarship will receive a half tuition scholarship for each year of study (an approximate total value of EUR €14,500).

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

All scholarships are awarded on a merit basis. Candidates must have completed the Peace Corps volunteer program prior to enrollment.

Scholarship Application Procedures and Deadline

Applicants applying for the Peace Corps Scholarship must indicate the dates when she/he served in the Peace Corps in the employment section of the online MPA application form. Additionally, the RPCV should submit proof of Peace Corps volunteer service (i.e. letter of recommendation from a Peace Corps representative, letter from the Peace Corps documenting completion of service, etc.) The application deadline is February 1.
