SPP Student Hanh Nguyen Featured in NASPAA Newsletter

MPA student Hanh Nguyen was featured in the Member Spotlight of NASPAANews, the monthly newsletter of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Nguyen is one of three SPP students who participated in the NASPAA 2016 Student Simulation Competition in February. She was selected from among the members of the winning team for a three-month "research-ship" at the G20 Research Group in Canada.
Director of SPP Career Services and Alumni Relations Ann Gagliardi commented on the value of the global competition. "The Student Simulation Competition provided our students with a chance to interact with policy students from other institutions and engage with cutting-edge simulation technology," she said. Gagliardi noted that thanks to SPP's membership in NASPAA, faculty and staff also have opportunities to engage in dialogue about best standards in public policy education.
