Dean Reinicke Attends GPPN Conference

December 6, 2013

Dean Wolfgang Reinicke joined invited representatives of public policy schools for the Global Public Policy Network's (GPPN) Conference in Tokyo in December.

This year's Conference was entitled Public Policy for 2020: Medium-Term Agenda for a Better Vision, and covered topics which included balancing national interests with economic integration, methods for formulating policy for international security and the peaceful resolution of international conflicts, and the roles and responsibilities of public institutions in times of crisis.

Students of GPPN member schools were invited to submit papers on these topics with a select number being chosen to present their papers at the conference in Tokyo.

GPPN is a partnership between Columbia University, FGV-EAESP, the University of Tokyo, the Hertie School of Governance, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, the Institute of Public Affairs at LSE, and Sciences Po, Paris.
